The Cosmere Novellas - Shadows For Silence in the Forests of Hell by Brandon Sanderson
Now, this is totally a different take on the Cosmere world. After reading, it left me gasp with adoration how in just 50 pages, Brandon is able to deliver such darkness in this story.
Many thoughts and many emotions left me thinking that this book has a certain background to it's origins on the Cosmere world. Shades, shadow are what you call both the protagonist and antagonist in this book.
Silver is being used here. Remember Silver is useless with Allomancy in the world of Mistborn. (Reference) However, silver is used as a form of a new magic system here. The used of silver is pretty legit in this world. When I mean world, I mean the Forest.
Silence Malone is of great character. She's strong, she has a mind of her own, she wants to change how her grandmother has made her the woman she is. So much emotions in just 50 pages. It's good!

The Cosmere Novellas - Sixth of the Dusk by Brandon Sanderson
What!??? I did not expect that!!! How could Brandon write all those stuff in just 90+ pages? It was really good! The world building was really comprehensive. I was like... "No way"
There were no chapter breaks and it goes on and on and it sucked you into this world/island called Patji immediately. Moments of adrenaline, fear, and a little disgusted (in a good way) by some of the description while you were being brought into the minds of Dusk where his special breed birds gave him this special ability to see a glimpse of his death/corpse before every step he makes.
There were really good moments of actions and fighting scenes too. How in the world?...
Masterful of it's own and I can't wait to read some of his other novellas in the same world. Short read but great! I have reasons for my rating. This is because I wanted to know more of what might happen after! (If there would be any, which I highly doubt so)

Warbreaker 01 - Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson
As many fans of Brandon's would know that this book is also set in the same universe as the Mistborn trilogy which I thoroughly loved so much. This universe thingy is also called the Cosmere world.
It was said that this book would be a standalone but according to Brandon's latest blog, we have a SEQUEL ya'll!!! However, it's not going to be soon. It sucks, due to my overly hype stupidity anticipation. Ergh!
There are 2 kingdoms when 1 of it was more subtle than the one that you're in. Character development was spot on! I love the story between Siri and the God King. It's hilarious!!! And by hilarious, this is by far the funniest book from Brandon. It's just so good!
I wanted more of them but it didn't happen. I was a little disappointed but then again, it was done right.
The political system was well crafted.
The magic system. Wow! Just wow! It has hierarchies of how the whole magic system works. And if this book still remains a standalone. Hands down, this would the best Fantasy book ever written!
Read it! That epic-ness in this book just caught me off guard. Like he always does, IT'S BLOODY UNFAIR!!!
There I was, reading it with much anticipation to know what the end of the book has to give, and I realized that it's about 70 plus pages left and there's still nothing, yet! I was getting a little impatient when the first mind blowing news happens I was like left dumbstruck with this face!
And at the very end, it blew me off guard again and I WASN'T ready! (You hear me, Brandon! I WAS NOT READY!!!) It's like, how many more are you gonna give to really get my brain all fried up! And I curse like how all the character does in this book! COLORS!!!
I've set my mind with no expectations and this book was amazingly written and the plot was fantastically thought off! Pick it up and read it. This is all I can say!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Saga Series 06 - Chapter Six by Brian K. Vaughan
Thought provokingly good! From the very start of this series, it has already set a pace that was so thrilling and violent at the same time (which is good) that causes me to follow until now. And this chapter doesn't fail to do so!
We were being told that the killing in this chapter would make a mess. So, I can't wait to see what comes next. Then we are brought back to both Marko and Alana trying to escape and Izabel just shown us something SO Amazing which made me go...
I can't even utter a single word at the very last page when 2 new characters appeared majestically! Give me Chapter 7 like right now!!!

Saga Series 04 - Chapter Four by Brian K. Vaughan
I have to say, that space brothel named Sextillion has some weird sh*t going on to go on business like that. Bloody dodgy yet I'm kinda convinced. *wink wink*
So, the Gwendolyn mystery has been cleared out and my way of complimenting this chapter is, it ends with style. I like it! I'm in awe. Chapter 5 up next!

The Heir Chronicles 03 - The Dragon Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
I was a little surprise that I took longer than usual to finish this book. The book is fast pace and I didn't get into it as much as the first 2 books. Maybe my mind was per-occupied with work and I can't get in to the mood of reading for the past few weeks. I hope to get into it.
We are back with all the characters that we were being introduced from the 2 books and most of them are playing a more prominent role in this book. Each of them has a task to protect Trinity.
As Chima's usual way of plotting the twist at the end of the book by telling us who the Dragon heir would be. There will be death to some of our favorable characters in the series. And it works! We might missed them but it works.
There are really some funny moments:-
"Next thing you know, they'll break into a chorus of "Kumbaya", Jason thought, drumming his fingers on the table."
"Longbranch's eyes glittered with irritation. "Let me be plain. Give us the Dragonheart, and you will rule the guilds alongside us. Refuse, and we will destroy this town and everything and everyone in it. Down to the smallest child and family pet." So much for "Kumbaya", Jason thought.
It was during their negotiation on how to work together as all guilds came along together. Running Jason's thought really cracks me up.
It ends abruptly with stories of Linda and Hasting being left hanging. I want to know more on what were their true purposes are in Raven's Ghyll.
